HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

It just doesn't quit........ it was the snowiest December on record for us here in Green Bay. We got 45.6 inches and that is the record ~ dating back 120 years and if things go like they did that year we could be getting another 100 inches..... PLEASE NO. It's snowing now by the way. The national weather service is predicting normal snow fall through March but are they ever right but if they are we are still in for more white stuff. WE DON'T NEED TO BREAK ANY MORE RECORDS..... THANK YOU..... LOL

We had a nice night last night. My son and his daughter came over for awhile and we watched Mama Mia with Meryl Streep and had fun watching it..... we didn't want it to end so I switched on the screen where the words to the songs were on the bottom of the screen and we fast forwarded to the songs and sang along. Carley certainly had fun and so did I..... You should see it if you like musicials like we do.... Carley didn't want it to end the way it did but I enjoyed the ending very much... :>)

Now Im just going to pretend it isn't snowing and enjoy my day...... Hope everyone is having a very nice start to this new year with so much promise...
Sandra

  2. Carley is looking so cute, and I think she loves her gift. Mamma Mia sounded like a good movie so I'm glad you and Carley got to watch it together. One of these days we will have to get a dvd player so I can see it too.

  4. How fun. I haven't seen Mamma Mia but the trailers really look good.

I don't know how you endure so much snow. Phew, we haven't had any this year. :-)

  5. Mamma Mia is great. I was surprised at how much of a 'musical' it was and I loved it. I hate to say this but your snow in Wisconsin is so pretty. That said, I do remember digging out driveways. And oddly enough, I miss the winter seasons. *sigh*

  7. It sounds like you had a wonderful New Year celebration. We've had enough snow here just to cover the ground and make some ice to slip around on. Thankfully we've not had what you do. Winter is worse here in January and February it seems. 'On Ya'-ma

  9. WOW! that is alot of snow. All totaled, I probably haven't seen that much including three winters in North Missouri. Well I guess you can't stop it, and National weather can say what they want, IF it is snowing it is snowing, what ever they say won't change it that is for sure. I do hope it is enough that you all can enjoy it and not enough for you to be socked in for long periods. TAke care and just make and enjoy the snow cream.

  17. No snow here in Flordia! People think I'm crazy...I lived in New England all my life and I miss the snow. Well, I've been in Florida for nearly 20 years now. Florida is always green, sunshine, flowers but hell when it is hurricane season!
